I have been selected to be 1 of 54 fellows representing 30 countries at the ISPA Congress 2024. Many of you have been asking about the ISPA Fellowship since it was announced in September and what it means. I thought I’d take the opportunity to explain it and even encourage some of you who I know would be quite fitting for this programme to maybe even apply in 2024 for the 2025 ISPA Fellowship.

What is ISPA?

The International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) was created with the mission to strengthen the performing arts globally through the advancement of leadership, the exchange of ideas, and by fostering a diverse and engaged membership.

About The Fellowship

ISPA’s Fellowship Program was created to provide emerging and mid-career performing arts professionals with the opportunity to expand their international networks through membership and attendance at ISPA Congresses. The Fellows represent all disciplines, genres, and types of arts organizations.

Why Did I Apply?

I am an Arts Manager and part of that means understanding the business needs of various art forms across the visual and performing arts. It also means spending time connecting with key personnel that can help me serve my clients and the institutions I work with. In addition to those two very basic key goals, I am a forever learner and attending this congress of great minds adds to my growth, can open doors and create opportunities.
